In 1812, the Maison Bruno Court was founded in Grasse, France. The taste for personalization attracted the European and Russian aristocracy, who traveled thousands of miles to have their perfumes custom made. That demand for high quality led Bruno Court to master all stages of perfume creation. Bruno Court officially became a consort of Queen Alexandra, the Queen of England, King Edward VII, King Frederic VIII of Bulgaria and Napoleon III, among others. The knowledge is passed on within the family from generation to generation.
Brécourt was created by Emilie Bouge, 4th generation of the family. She used the disappeared name of the Bruno Court fragrance house and placed the letter "E" for Emilie in between. In December 2010 she founded her own perfume house Brécourt with a view to luxurious and authentic perfume. She focuses on fragrances with the use of natural raw materials and high quality.
