Jacques Fath Red Shoes Perfume
Jacques Fath "Red Shoes" Perfume (All She Wants to Do is Dance) is the name of the 1948 ballet film praised by filmmakers Brian de Palma and Martin Scorcese for which Jacques Fath created the fantastic costumes of prima ballerina, Moira Schearer. Later in 1950, Fath designed a lush red silky dress of the same name for the fall collection, worn by model Bettina, photographed by Irving Penn for Vogue US edition.
Fragrance: For Red Shoes I was inspired by Jacques Fath's famous evening dress. It is dramatically focused on the bustier of the red silk dress with a royal blue stole. I wanted this fragrance to illustrate this intense femininity and sensuality, the satin and silky feel. A scent that matches the image of this evening dress, elegant, opulent, so chic.
