Jacques Fath liked to wear eccentric accessories or clothes that he bought during his travels, contrasting with the rest of his classic wardrobe, including a classic Loden coat, which he brought with him from Austria* : Extract from the book Jacques Fath by Valérie Guillaume, Paris Mus' es Editions. He also used this special, warm and strong woolen fabric to transform feminine dresses into a classic Loden coat.

Fragrance: Vetiver is a root with a very intense and firm woody character that is considered a symbol of tenacity for perfumes, the same as this unique sensation Loden that Jacques Fath used. And I have a childhood memory of my grandfather wearing his Loden, both spiky and…protective. So I recreated this contrasting feeling, thanks to herbs, especially fresh ginger, which has a citrus note that can sublimate the intensity of vetiver. Luca Maffei
